The Denver Academy of Dramatic Arts (DADA) at Visionbox Studio is a professional actor training studio that offers masters-level training to students and professional actors of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. All classes at DADA are acting classes; whether the specific discipline is movement, voice and speech, music, or directing. Our overall focus is always on acting technique and the development of character through objective and action work. Every class sequence culminates in a public performance. The mission of DADA@Visionbox is to provide all performing artists the necessary training and artistic community needed to develop successful lives in the theatre, thereby helping to raise the overall level of the performing arts in Denver.

Founding Artistic Director of Visionbox Studio and DADA Jennifer McCray Rincon received her BA in Theatre Studies from Yale University and an MFA in Directing from the Yale School of Drama. She was recipient of an NEA Directing Fellowship at Playwright’s Horizons in NYC and a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship in Bogota, Colombia. After many years in New York, Ms. Rincón came to Denver as the Head of Acting at the National Theatre Conservatory the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Ms. Rincon founded Visionbox to provide Denver students and professional actors with the same level of training afforded to Masters students at Yale. Ms. Rincon works in Spanish and English. She has three children, Catalina, 23, Sonia, 20, and Carlo, 16.
