Tom Creighton
Chairman of the Board

Tom is the Chairman of the Board of Visionbox, is an economist, with undergraduate and graduate degrees from Yale University. He is a non-executive Chairman of High Plains Bank, a family-owned community bank headquartered in eastern Colorado. His other Volunteer positions include Treasurer of Park Hill Congregational Church, Director of Avalanche Schools for the Colorado Mountain Club, and member of the Finance Committee and a shop lead and mechanic at the Park Hill Bike Depot. He is a native of Denver.

Joe Smith
 Board Secretary 

Joe Smith is a commercial trial lawyer. He is a partner in the law firm of Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar & Scott LLC. Joe earned his B.A. from Yale College, where he spent four years on the debate team and received faculty prizes for oratory and debate. He earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Joe’s professional experience includes service in the leadership of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation and public service as Colorado’s Deputy Attorney General for Natural Resources. Joe sits on the boards of ACE Scholarships, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, and the Independence Institute. He co-authored (with Tara Ross) the book “Under God: George Washington and the Question of Church and State” (Spence Publishing, 2008), and his work has appeared in the op-ed pages of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Rocky Mountain News, and other publications.

Amber is an artist and photographer, exhibited at Studio 15 at the Dry Ice Factory in Denver, and has sat on several boards including Challenge Day Denver.

Jennifer Dean graduated with a BFA Acting degree from University of Colorado. Acting credits include being featured in the film, Your Name Here, starring Bill Pullman, and was the Director’s Assistant additionally.  She was featured as Honor Wainio in Heroes of Flight 93 and had a supporting role in a PBS TV show Good Grief.  She was an Associate Producer for Bill Pullman’s original play Expedition 6 that debuted at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.  Jenn produced a TV show and radio program called Reggie McDaniel’s Everyday People’s Entertainment Guide for Ion TV.  She is thankful to have performed in several plays and projects at Visionbox Studio directed by Jennifer McCray Rincon.  She has appeared in local and national commercials and is represented by Big Fish Talent agency.

Bill Pullman

Bill Pullman started acting professionally in New York Theater in 1983, and shortly after began his film career that currently spans over seventy features and several television series. 

Bill was an on-camera subject for the documentary The Fruit Hunters (released in May 2013), performed in Beth Henley’s play The Jacksonian (with Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, Glenne Headley), and appeared in filmmaker Cherien Dabis’ feature May In The Summer (shot in Jordan, opened the 2013 Sundance Festival). 

Bill’s most recent theater work has been on Broadway in The Other Place co-starring Laurie Metcalf, as well as the premiere of the devised physical theater piece Healing Wars at Arena Stage, The New Group’s Sticks and Bones and the bi-lingual production of Othello at the National Theater in Bergen, Norway.

His other theater work includes the Broadway world premiere of Edward Albee’s The Goat (Drama Desk nomination), Albee's Peter and Jerry (Drama Desk Nomination), the Kennedy Center production of The Subject Was Roses (Helen Hays nomination).

His movie work includes blockbuster comedies (Ruthless People, Spaceballs, Casper), dramas (The Serpent and the Rainbow, The Accidental Tourist, Igby Goes Down), romantic comedies (Sleepless in Seattle, While You Were Sleeping), action, (Independence Day), thrillers (Malice), westerns (The Virginian, Wyatt Earp), film noir (The Last Seduction, Lost Highway, The Zero Effect), horror (The Grudge), and two television mini-series (Revelations, Torchwood).

Bill directed and produced the TNT movie The Virginian (Wrangler Award/Best Picture, 2000).   He wrote and directed Expedition 6 t hat was performed at the Kennedy Center, Baltimore Theatre Project, and the Magic Theatre/San Francisco.

 

Bill can next be seen in the films Brothers-In-Law and Independence Day: Resurrection and will soon begin shooting LBJ with Rob Reiner directing.

Tim Geisler
 

Gary Logan is the author of The Eloquent Shakespeare and a recipient of a 2006 Tyrone Gutherie Award. He is the director of the Academy of Classical Acting MFA program in Washington DC. Before he was the director of the ACA, he was the Chairman of Voice and Speech for the National Theatre Conservatory at the Denver Center. He also was the Denver Center Theatre Company’s Voice, Text, and Dialect coach for over 60 productions. His other coaching credits include the Shakespeare Theatre Company, the Stratford Shakespeare Festival of Canada, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Kennedy Center, the Folger Theatre, Ford’s Theatre, Arena Theatre, Studio Theatre, Everyman Theatre, Centerstage, and the Chautauqua Theatre Company. He has numerous university level teaching credits including the University of Maryland, George Washington University, University of Colorado-Denver and Boulder, and as a guest artist at Dartmouth College, the Washington National Opera, the Chautauqua Theatre Conservatory, US Air Force Academy, California State University, the Kennedy Center and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He holds and MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theatre and an honorary MFA from the National Theatre Conservatory.

Sofia Williamson
 

Sofia Williamson is Commercial Real Estate Broker in the Denver. Devoted to the best interests of her clients, Sofia offers representation for Buyers, Sellers, Investors and Tenant Rep. Her approach is methodical and thorough. Born in Mexico and raised in West Denver, her familiarity with the growth of our urban areas has given her a great connection to the city as well as the community. Sofia has an extensive background in marketing and sales, servicing clients and creating successful advertising campaigns. Her experience as a marketing consultant with local radio stations has brought her great knowledge and understanding within the sphere of advertising and promotions. Sofia was an active board member for the Community Involvement Community for the 9Health Fair since 2005. The fair is one of the largest non-profit health fair programs offering free and low cost screenings and education in hundreds of communities around Colorado. Through the essence of volunteering, Sofia has found it gratifying to give back to the people. Sofia has been a former member with the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for many years. She maintains and continues building strong lasting relationships within the Hispanic business community. She is honored being a member of the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Brokers and the Mile High Exchangers. A graduate of Metropolitan State College with a BA in Spanish and Fine Art, Sofia also studied in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Being of Mexican lineage, she is inspired by the Latino culture of art and philosophy. She returned to Mexico after college andlived in Guadalajara as well as Puerto Vallarta. Sofia’s devotion to the arts inspired her to own and operate a private art studio producing works of Mixed Media including Metal Sculptures, paintings on wood know as Retablos, in addition to acrylic resin works. An active member from 2001-2004 with Urban Arts, she volunteered her time to the community working with children.
